Women's role in the Revolution.
Without the women's support in the revolt of Great Britain the colonies would have never break off and establish a new nation. Women helped in the boycotts by making their own clothes and their food rather then buying it from great Britain. Their contribution helped bring the political salvation of the whole continent. Their role to save the colonies was overlooked however the support and loyalty that they showed should not be underestimated.
Women again made their contributions in the war, offering their services as cooks, laundresses, and prostitutes, or disguising themselves as soldiers. The women helped their husbands again and saved the colonies from destruction.
